I set up an Auto-Attendent. When i go to schedules I pick Hours of Operation M-F from 8am-5pm. For In Hours Destination i choose Menus-> Menu:Greeting (This is my welcome message to all callers. for outside of hours destination i choose Menus-> Menu:Afterhours (This is a message to direct people to voicemails. I test it by calling the Menu Number. it works fine) I check Apply Forward Settings for both. When i push save and then apply changes. The welcome message works fine, but then when i call after 5pm. It is still the welcome message and not the Afterhours message.
If you are utilizing the System Hours Schedule then the system will move automatically between the day and night mode settings. If you are using a schedule then you must set the schedule as the answer point for your lines in order for the system to sollow the schedule.
