Why do my Analog Ports on my IP1000 stay open?

This is a problem that occurs when the central office does not recognize a certain type of disconnect signal. Please follow the below steps to solve this problem.

  1. Login to the PBX
  2. Go To Networking>Analog Interface>Voice
  3. Change Signal Method to Loop Period Shutdown as disconnect signal
  4. Change min period to 600
  5. Click Save Changes
  6. Go To Networking>Analog Interface>Reset Analog
  7. Click Reset Analog

Be sure to give the PBX a minute to do the reset.
